Course Description

The field of esthetics involves a comprehensive knowledge of skin care. 600 hours course (300 live online hours and 300 in-person hours) are divided into four modules – Theory, Practical, Makeup and Clinic. You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of how the skin works and responds to formulas and treatment methods, and you’ll learn how to apply that knowledge in practice for performing treatments and selecting appropriate solutions to address skin issues. You’ll also go beyond the layers of the skin to become proficient in both the fundamentals and specialties of makeup application.

You’ll learn several disciplines, including chemistry, anatomy, and biology, as a foundation for:

• Facial Treatments
• Body Procedures
• Makeup Techniques
• How to Use Electricity and Machines in Esthetics
• How to Remove Superfluous Hair
• Preparation for the NY State Licensing Exam
