Allure Highlights Christine Valmy’s Legacy & Alumni Success in the Beauty Industry
10/7/2024 – We are deeply grateful to Brennan Kilbane for featuring CV alumni, Elizabeth Grace Hand and Raquel Medina-Cleghorn, and Christine Valmy in his recent Allure article, So You Want to Be a Facialist? Hand and Medina-Cleghorn run in-demand beauty studios in downtown Manhattan named Ställe Studios and Raquel New York, respectively, and have been named as members of the new class of “status facialists” by Fashionista. We congratulate them on their success and recognition!
Brennan highlights that one commonality among many of NYC’s top facialists is that they received their education at Christine Valmy. He also shares about the impact that our founder, Ms. Valmy, had on shaping the esthetics industry we know and love today – from creating her own formulas with natural ingredients long before it was on-trend to establishing the first school and curriculum dedicated to skin care.
It has always been our mission to advance the skin care profession through exceptional education and product innovation. This is why our graduates go on to work at and open some of NYC’s most elite spas and skincare studios, making a name for themselves as leaders in the field. This legacy would not be possible without the vision of Ms. Christine Valmy. As a pioneer in holistic skincare, she emphasized the importance of balancing science with artistry, and her approach remains the foundation of our institution to this day. Ms. Valmy’s passion for her craft and influence in elevating industry standards continue to inspire everything we do.
Thank you again to Brennan and Allure – we are honored to be mentioned in your editorial!
