Seminar Overview

An alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) treatment is the process of adding water-soluble ingredients to skincare products that promote the rapid shedding of dead cells. This procedure gives your clients’ skin a smooth and youthful radiance. This seminar includes the history of the process, the chemical composition of all six AHAs, instruction on skin renewal, exfoliation and more!

Microdermabrasion stimulates the growth of collagen to smooth & improve skin tone & appearance by promoting the production of new cells in the deepest layers of the skin. The top layer of dead skin is removed, revealing new, healthy skin. The two microdermabrasion techniques covered in this seminar are: crystals and without crystals.

This two-part, one-day workshop includes expanded and detailed theory, instruction, and demonstration. It also includes an AHA two-part product kit. At the end of this seminar, you will also receive a certificate of completion.

Must be a current Skin Care or Cosmetology student, or have an active NJ Skin Care Specialty or Cosmetology & Hairstyling license, to take this class.
